A Book about the Status of Pluralism in Chilean Television Is Published

• The text examines the international debate, the legal framework and public policies that impact media pluralism. It constitutes an important precedent of systematization and analysis that has helped substantiate the current Fondecyt project on convergence in which three of its authors participate.
   
• It includes an instrument for measuring the scope of pluralism in nationwide, regional and community news programs as well as in other countries that has been applied and validated in the Chilean context. 

The presentation of the book “TV Pluralism, Measurement and Analysis of Pluralism in Chilean Television” was held at Centro GAM on World Press Freedom Day. The work systematizes the research led by Chiara Sáez, an academic at the Faculty of Communication and Image of Universidad de Chile, with a team consisting of researchers Jorge Avilés, Felipe Riffo and Javier García. investigación liderada por Chiara Sáez, académica de la Facultad de Comunicación e Imagen de la Universidad de Chile, junto a un equipo conformado por los investigadores Jorge Avilés, Felipe Riffo y Javier García.
