En el marco de la conmemoración de los cuatro años del Estallido Social en Chile, compartimos como documento de trabajo la versión en español del artículo “Desafíos para la libertad de expresión en Internet en contextos de crisis social: El caso de Chile (2019-2022)”, publicado recientemente por el Journal of Digital Media & Policy dentro del dossier “Emerging Debates on Internet Platform Policy and Regulation in Latin America”.
The article addresses the systematization work regarding the STATE of online freedom of expression during the social outburst as a case study for the behavior of platforms, members of parliament and the judicial power in a social crisis context based on the analysis of primary and secondary data that includes complaints from platform users, legislative work and court of justice sentences.
