Panel on Convergent Regulation at the IX INCOM Congress

The Fondecyt 1230748 team presented a project that analyzes the pertinence of a convergent regulatory institutionalism in communications for Chile.

The IX INCOM Congress “Communication in Interdisciplinary Dialogue”, organized by the Chilean Association of Researchers in Communication (INCOM), was held from Wednesday, November 8th to Friday, November 10th at the Creative Campus of Universidad Andrés Bello.

On Friday 10th, after attending various roundtables and event activities, our researchers Chiara Sáez and Patricia Peña, together with researcher Javier García and assistant Jorge Avilés, shared the first settings of the research on a convergent regulatory institutionalism for Chile in a panel where they addressed the frameworks, developments and international experiences analyzed in the first year of the Fondecyt 1230748 project.

The meeting, a product of the joint effort of the Chilean Association of Researchers in Communication and the School of Journalism of Universidad Andrés Bello, was attended by various FCEI professors such as Laureano Checa, Ximena Póo, Alejandro Morales, Lorena Antezana, Cristian Cabalín and Eduardo Santa Cruz, among others.
