We are sharing Newsletter #1 (July 2023) of our Fondecyt 1230748 research project, which reflects on how to advance toward a regulatory institutionalism of communications by assuming the reality of technological convergence.
In our first edition, we address the status of pluralism in Chilean television, the case of publishers versus free access to knowledge and information promoted by InternetArchive, audiovisual policies in Europe and the sustainability of community media in Spain, the presentation in Colombia of a study on the regulation of community media in Latin America, and a series of interesting readings on technomedia regulation and convergence in the region.
