Last Friday, November 7th, the team of the Fondecyt Project \u201cCritical Factors for Establishing a Convergent Regulatory Institutionalism of Communications in Chile\u201d presented its panel at the 11th INCOM Chile 2025 Conference held at the Faculty of Communication and Humanities of Universidad Diego Portales.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The panel, entitled \u201cInstitutionalism, Governance and Multilateralism: Challenges of Techno-Media Convergence in Chile\u201d, addressed the links between the Chilean State and the strategic guidelines promoted by multilateral organizations in communications and digital regulation. The conversation placed an emphasis on the current challenges of media governance, the independence of regulatory bodies and the transformations emerged from artificial intelligence in information ecosystems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Jorge Avil\u00e9s, \u201cIndependence and Autonomy of Convergent Regulatory Bodies of Communications: A Proposal on Indicators Based on Four International Cases\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
